Is nothing sacred?
The NY Sun's Josh Gerstein has taken the lead on the NY Times' newest betrayal of American citizens -- disclosing, contrary to a request by the Bush administration, the feds' terrorist banking surveillance program, one described as affording the US a "unique and powerful window into the operations of terrorist networks."
UPDATE (6/24) - My article, suggesting that the Attorney General pursue an indictment, has been published at the American Thinker. Thanks to Gadsden Flag for his input. Also, Pundit Review radio will be discussing the Times's latest subterfuge with Janey Levy of the Jihad Watch Project; and Realclearpolitics is stuffed to the gills with reaction to yesterday's story; and the commenters over at Hot Air offer some great insights.

And the libs howled when Ann Coulter accused them of "Treason" in her last book. Though hyperbolic, she is repeatedly proven correct. Bill Keller and Pinch should be placed in irons and frog-marched to the courtyard.

I think the NY and LA Times need to be charged with treason. But I also think the individual leaking these bits of intelligence should also be charged and convicted to the fullest extent.

The NYT not only needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, but truly needs to be sacked and burned to the ground. They are my sworn enemy, and the very real enemy of this nation. I want to see the Attorney General go after the NYT with the sledge hammer of the federal government, at every possible level, in every possible way. Period. End of discussion.
