If Mark Felt is a hero does that make Linda Tripp one too?
Why do you think Atheists who say they don't believe in God are so preoccupied with those that do believe in God? Their non-belief certainly doesn't effect my belief...so why shouldn't the reverse be true?
Is childhood completely dead? Over the weekend, I visited the aircraft carrier, John F. Kennedy . Up on the flight deck, my girlfriend took a picture of me behind a machine gun mounted on a helicopter. I pointed the gun directly at her while she took the photo. A little while later, an 8-year old boy came up to her and said, (and I kid you not), "Well, I know your relationship is not gonna last very long" My girlfriend was flabbergasted, "What?!?". The kid responded, "Well, the way he was pointing that gun it sure didn't seem like you have a very good relationship." Judging adults relationships at 8-years old, what do they teach these kids in school?
Why do Liberals and Democrats still point to the European Model as a way to structure a nation as a step up from our "failed" American Model? It seems to me that the countries in Europe represent a vast social wasteland of failed welfare states, horrendous unemployment, with no ability to defend their own borders. And they love soccer on top of all the other things they get wrong.
Am I the only Mets fan around who is doing a little dance inside everytime the Yankees lose letting me fondly remember those glorious Horace Clark years in the early 1970's when they really stunk bad..as I'm hoping they do now.
Is it just me, but I saw that Star Wars movie and it was just about the most pointless, boring, and unimaginative piece of junk I've ever seen. What a yawn.
If Hollywood is a reflection of American society then how come it seems like all our younger actors our wimps? I saw a bio on Steve McQueen the other night. A real guys guy. He actually raced in Le Mans with a broken leg for a movie he was doing on the famous 24-hour competition. Then this morning I read about a drunken Christian Slater patting the butt of some 52-year old woman who called 911 after he didn't apologize. Pathetic.
