Public Blames Everybody for Gridlock (But Especially Congress)
You've heard that Bush's job approval was low? It is-- 47%-- but Congress's is even lower, at 36%. Sick of partisanship and gridlock, the public is blaming Bush and the Congressional Democrats; but they blame the Democrats more. Where on earth did the Democrats get the idea that the lesson of November 2004 was to fight, fight, fight? The public wants the Democrats to cooperate with Bush.
Maybe people agree with David Brooks. (Hat tip: SocialSecurityChoice.com.)
