Bolton vs. Transnational Organizations
The incomparable Mark Steyn has outdone himself with his brilliant column today . In the column, Steyn describes the incompetence of tsunami relief efforts and relates how John Bolton and his frankness and honesty threatens those who hold transnational organizations and its bureaucrats near and dear.
As one who admired Daniel Moynihan for his telling truth to power at the U.N. in the 1970s, and who thought Jeanne Kirkpatrick's 1984 "Blame America Democrats" speech was right on target, I think Bolton will be a superb and necessary U.N. Ambassador.
