What information is collected and how it's used
We don't collect your personal information without your knowledge. We may collect your name, address and e-mail address, but only if you voluntarily submit this information to us. We do not, however, knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen.

Our Users -- When you register to become a Citizen-Journal User, we will collect your name, e-mail address, and city and state or country of residence. As noted on the Registration Form, when you register with the Site we ask you to provide certain personal information, but other users will not have access to this information unless you elect to provide it to them. You can modify your account information at any time by clicking the “Edit Profile” button after logging in.
Contributions - If you submit an article for our consideration and we select it for publication, we may include the name, city and state or country that you provide to us when the article is published.
Except as specifically set forth in this Privacy Policy, we do not share your personally identifiable information outside of the Site unless you "opt in" to having your personally identifiable information shared with a company that is not affiliated with us.
