Bush Won't "Say Uncle"Posted by: Bill of Right
Nancy Pelosi thinks President Bush may "say Uncle" about "privatization," by which one assumes she means voluntary private accounts. Don't bank on it, Ms. Pelosi. Private accounts are the only way to "transform" Social Security from a pay-as-you-go redistribution system to anything that belongs in the "ownership society" envisioned by the President. But stay tuned (watch Bush's press conference via the White House website.) E-mail this entry to a friend.
