The other side

This website says it "exists so our members and guests are assured that there are many others across the country who share their outrage at the unilateral, arrogant, and extreme right-wing approach taken by George W. Bush and his team, the conservative Republicans in Congress, and the five conservative partisans on the Supreme Court."

A recent discussion string ("a war with the religious right is coming, cause that's what they want") starts with the following:

a nation of true believers is what they want, and they don’t want you non believers around at all. of course, we can’t allow that, but that won’t stop the coming major confrontation with the religious, righteous zealots.

deny it at your peril.

(H/T: Littlegreenfootballs.com.) More here on what passes for "debate" amongst much of the Angry Left.

I'm not appalled by that kind of thing. I think it's stupid and annoying, but I think it's even more ridiculous that this web site calls it out by being stupid and annoying back.

Seriously, Aaron - liberals should be appalled, there's no getting around it. Don't you think people like this, causes like this cost Democrats votes? Why do you think Republicans savor these stories? Because they help us.

Wake up, Aaron. This is an opinion website, not a debating club.

"(Argument)"

"Hah, they're angry."

Uhhhhh... is that what passes for "debate" around here?
