Andrew Sullivan: Having it Both Ways

New York Press’ Russ Smith (“Mugger”) this week delves into the blogosphere, and he’s even so kind as to mention CJ by name in the process:
The bloggers—"citizen journalists," pajama pundits, whatever you want to call them—are reaching millions of Americans, and while many will be coopted by traditional media companies, it's a kick in the pants and skirts of the Beltway cocktail party crowd, whose precious words and broadcasts don't matter as much anymore.
Okay, he didn’t really mention “Citizen Journal” as such but, as a friend of mine likes to says when he’s embellishing, “details bog down the story.” Close enough. Oh, and Mugger goes on to talk about the MSM establishment “backlash” and chastises Andrew Sullivan for being “the establishment,” even though he fancies himself the “spokesman for the online commentators and investigators and needlers.” Like most of Mugger's work, this one's worth a read.
